First there was Pinot Gris. Okay, perhaps not, but there was Pinot Gris between then and now. It was good, and we liked it. However, we were greedy, and we wanted even more. We were looking for something that had been hidden in it, and we were absolutely sure it was there waiting for us. We still cannot explain what made us do it, but we decided to ferment whole bunches between layers of hand-selected berries, and bang…… there it was, the Sandwich. And lo and behold, we found what we’d been looking for: energy and a zest for life that is present in every sip of it.
